Wow only 4 days until the concert!! I hope everyone has their tickets, if not you can get them at the bottom of this page just click the link, print them off and your all set (of course there is a credit card involved haha).
So here is the official release of all the info you will need to know about the concert, essentially all the answers to all your questions, well at least most of them.

1. Tickets are available on this site (obviously :p)
2. Tickets will not be available at the door.
3. The show starts at 7pm doors open at 6:45
4. All ages are encouraged to come, (11 and under are free!!)
5. Parking should not be a problem there is a parking deck across the street and also lots of 2hr
parking spots around the square.
6. Tickets are $8 online and $9 if you get them from me {hint: don't do that :) get them on this
site they are cheaper}.
7. CD's, Tee shirts and bumper stickers will be available at this concert and unfortunately we
will only be accepting cash :( tees run from 15-20 dollars, the EP album Worship & Adore
is $5 and bumper stickers are $3 so hopefully that kinda gives you an idea of what to bring
as far as cash.
8. If you are over 16 you will need an ID, if you are under 16 and are coming with an adult you will be fine.
9. Ahh am I missing something?? Ok that wasn't really an answer to a question :p. Let me know
if I left anything out.

Announcing Our First Live Concert!!

Hey Everyone!! Well I finally have the pleasure of announcing, The Ninth Hour's first concert dates!! We will be preforming live at the, Pour House in Raleigh N.C Jan 24 2010. We are supposed to start at 7:oo but I will let everyone know for sure as soon as I get the word. I am so thankful to have this opportunity at last. We pray that all who can will come out and enjoy a time of worship and praise to our Father. We will be offering or debut EP album, Worship & Adore at this event in CD form as well as Band tee shirts, posters, bumper stickers and more...! You can purchase tickets buy clicking on the link at the bottom of this page. We want to thank all of our fans (we know we have some out there) for all of your comments, feedback and support through the last two years you are an inspiration! Finally and most importantly we want to give God all the glory for all that he has done, is doing and will do in the future. We hope to see you there!!

Let Me Love You

Well it's been a while but here we are again, so many things have been going on in the physical realm as well as in the spiritual realm. We have been in the studio and are so blessed to be able to post another new song, Let Me Love You. The song it self is really a cry from the imperfect (that would be all of us) from the broken, and scared from all of us who have ever wondered how God could love us despite our downfalls and shortcomings.
Gods love is so strong that no matter what we could ever do his heart will always be waiting to take us back and smother us with his unfailing compassion and tenderness. That is the beauty of his grace, something we never have to doubt or second guess. He said, "I will never leave you nor forsake you," and what an awesome promise that is!!
So this song mirrors the cry of the whole earth, groaning and travailing in desperation awaiting the sons of God and the true power and passion of our Father to arise. We (The Ninth Hour) are just so grateful that God has put this ministry in our heart, where he pours his soul into ours and breaks our heart for what breaks his. Our earnest prayer is that everyone that hears the music that we sing will not see us as individuals or as The Ninth Hour , but as vessels filled and overflowing on all that are willing to receive His love.

We've Been Busy!!

Wow!! It has been a while since I have written and so much seems to have happened. As I wrote in my last post we have moved and are now comfortably situated in our new home, what a blessing it has been being able to spread out on our 50 acres!! We have been working on some new songs and and are itching to get back to the studio, we are really hoping to have the CD finished by the end of the year......I know we were saying fall and now end of the year but with work and all the hustle of moving into the new house we kinda got behind. Now that we have moved and are only about five minutes from work we hope to have the CD finished soon.
Anyway thank you all for your prayers!

We Are God's......Not The Pipers

Yes!! Can you believe it? I have actually sat down to write a post, I know monumental right........? Well I know there are at least a few of you out there that care about what is going on in the life and times of, yours truly and the rest of the crew. Truth is we have been putting our nose to the grinder these past few weeks, working, recording, writing, practicing and more practicing, does that ever really end? So it is with the greatest sense of contentment that I put fingers to keys once again,(not musical keys, I've been fingering plenty of those).
I can only start by saying, !! WOW, IS GOD EXTRAVAGANT!! Prov 16:9 says, "A Man's heart plans his way but the Lord directs his path." What amazing detours we have surely made, from the opportunity to record in a pro studio to the possibility of being listened to by top label managers. It is nothing we could ever have foreseen, but God has given us something and we want to spread that burning passion to the world!
Not long ago I read a very insightful book talking about a lot of the inward corruption of the Christian music industry called, Snakes In The Lobby by Scott McLeod. In it the author talks about a piper piping deceptive tunes, always changing, ever striking a candid beat to the dips and peaks of the world's erratic demands. The author also describes the piper as leading a haggard crowd of Christian musicians, singers, dancers and a variety of talents, on a march as erratic as the melody. In the depiction, the artists are so caught up in keeping tune with the mad piper and his songs that they had all lost sight of the ultimate goal, GLORIFYING GOD with their God-given abilities. Now am I saying that every Christian artist is out there looking for the world's acceptance and fame before Gods? No, I am not, but there are some like that out there, and I can see how it would be very easy to become enamored with the bright lights and the roar of the crowd and totally miss God. But we as a Christian band must stay focused on the mark of the high calling of God which is to serve him and no other. So in saying all that, I would ask that you pray for us as we continue to sojourn on this rather new venture that God has set us on, this gift of praise. Oct 11th is the day that our music will go before some major labels, be praying that God would have His perfect will in our lives and that His peace would surround us as we wait on Him.

Ready to Fall?

I wrote a new song today called Ready to Fall. It really speaks my heart about so many people who are holding back from giving their all to Jesus, and it's about coming to the throne and just laying yourself before the eminent God in complete submission to Him and having the trust to offer Him everything. There are so many stories out there of people who are running scared and who have been hurt so many times and carry the scars of a thousand broken hearts, that they become hardened to their own soul as it reaches for the one person that alone can heal them.

Even still they fight and run, always keeping a safe distance from the light, never venturing too close or risking the possibility of getting hurt again. So this song is for the millions of people who will get up today and hide the pain they feel behind masks of indifference, anger and internal heartache. As Christian artists we are striving to make a difference in the lives of the people who hear the songs we sing. This is God's heart, He cries for the lost and calls them to return, and we intend to do all we can to give the world the message of His constant and relentless love.

Debut Album, available Fall o8’

The Ninth Hour is currently in production of our first album. We have recently been blessed with a producer Joe Champlion of Soul Keeper Music, Joe has offered to produce and record this album at his Willow Springs studio. We are elated and completely amazed at God’s plan steadily unfolding before our eyes. We will begin recording in the next few weeks and hope to have the album available by late Fall 08. Please keep praying for us that God would continue to move in our lives and direct us in the paths He has prepared for us, and that we would look only to Him and give Him ALL the glory!!

The Spirit & the Flesh

Shalom in Yeshua,
Let us lift up His name with thanksgiving and praise, for His tender mercies are new every morning. I believe that God has laid it on my heart, for the "Body" to search our beings for "enmity against God" (Romans 8:7). We can sometimes let ourselves get so into the flesh mind set, where we begin to think carnally. When you are in the flesh you can not please God, your whole being is subjected to all the earthly cares and pleasures of this world. A carnal mind is death, but to be spititually minded is life and peace in the body and in the Father from where that peace has come. The barrier between self and spirit is God and mammon. God said, you cannot serve two masters, you must choose which one you will serve, God or the evil one, for you will hate the one while you serve the other. The bible also says to be either hot, or cold, not lukewarm, a consequence which results in literally being spewed out of His mouth! Something to meditate on is in (Romans 8:9, But ye are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if any man have not the spirit of Messiah he is none of His). The bible says if we are led by the spirit of God, then we are sons of God! When we receive God and His spirit we don't receive the spirit of bondage or fear again, but we receive the spirit of adoption whereby we can cry, Abba Father. We must groan in the Spirit in intercessory prayer with the body, that we may stand strong against the evil one, we must lift each other up in prayer and fasting. Be sober and vigilant because your adversary the devil is as a roaring lion, walking about seeking whom he may devour, I Peter 5:8.
In all things stand firm in the Spirit with the Father and remember you were created to be a Temple 4 Him.

CUFI Conference Highlights

Well it is good to be home again, we have been three days in the nation's capitol for the annual, Christians United for Israel (CUFI) , conference. Wow what an amazing trip, meeting new people, being encouraged and uplifted, it was truly inspiring to see close to five thousand people unite under one banner in their support for Israel. We heard from some of the nations most passionate supporters of Israel, senators, pastors, students and even Jews themselves, just to hear their hearts and the hopes that have lain so long dormant, come alive in the minds and spirits of each one of them, was a mile stone in the progress of Israel's restoration. Hopes and dreams begin in the heart and then are cast like fragile nets to draw in the reality of the unseen, birthed before our eyes. The nation of Israel is in the very throws of laboring survival, we cannot abandon her, and the staff at CUFI is committed to doing all they can to further the support for the nation here in the United States. That is why it was so great to be a part of something like that, it's revolutionary in that right now, in the U.S., support for Israel as a country is weakening and the pull of her enemies becoming more violent, but God is raising up a remnant that will stand with her. We must do all we can, through prayer and physical support to influence those in our government to do the same.
So overall it was a very positive experience and we, God willing, plan to attend again to show our continued support. The U.S must see this as an "American" issue and take action, instead of sitting around waiting for Israel's enemies to make the first move. In the end even though we may not all agree on everything, we can set aside our differences for a time and unite for the cause of Israel. This is her time, she needs us now more than ever and we cannot, we must not ever give up on our hope in peace and the restoration of Zion's glory!!!!

We Are Back!!!!!!!!

WE ARE BACK!!!!
After what seems like an eternity of site overhaul we are now web public. Thank you all ( if your'e still out there?) for hanging in there while we underwent, I promise, the last of our web page changes. I hope that everyone interested, received the email I sent out with a link for the new Ninth Hour site. As you can see we have added the music as promised, we pray everyone is blessed by it. Also we have had a bit of a name change, we were UN2U but after much consideration and scripture seeking we have decided on, The Ninth Hour. As I am sure most of you all well know it was between the sixth and the ninth hour, as Jesus hung on the cross, that darkness fell over the land, and at the ninth hour He cried out, " My God my God why hast thou forsaken me?" The temple veil was torn, the earth shook and the rocks broke, the graves were opened and bodies of the saints arose who had been sleeping and appeared to many. At that very hour the scriptures were fulfilled and redemption became ours freely, by accepting Him as the I Am, the only God and following His commandments here on the earth. So it was with this powerful concept that we named ourselves after the legacy of the hour of our salvation, The Ninth Hour. We pray, and sincerely ask, that you would pray for us, that God would continue to use us for His will and that all we do and say and sing and write and live, would be for His glory alone and not ours.
A short update about the CD, we have been blessed by a friend of a friends with the opportunity to use free of charge, a recording studio!!! So we are prayerfully considering this as we continue to write more and more songs by God's blessings. We would have to re-record all of our songs, ( there are over twenty ) and that would prolong the time it takes to make the CD available to everyone who would like one. So we are planning to meet or talk to them this weekend and try to come up with some sort of a plan, if we are to do it at the studio. Pray for us that we will be led of the Spirit in all things and that His ultimate will would be carried out in our lives and through the songs we sing for Him. Again thank you for your prayers and we are sorry for the inconvenience of being "down " under construction for so long.

~A light in the darkness~

Hey everyone.... my name is Olivia,
I play piano, guitar, and ukulele now and will be trying my hand at the violin very soon. I sing a few solo songs on the the CD, but mostly I like to write and sing with my brothers. That is always a really awesome time when we sit around and work on our latest song!!! I wanted to share a story about something that happened not too long ago: We were visiting friends a little while back, and we were all together just having a time of worship and prayer, and they asked us to play one of our songs. Well, we got up there and decided to play one that we had just finished called "Shine". Afterward, we found out that their dad had felt a burden to discuss the importance of casting your light forth in this dark world, to shine and not cover it up. He compared it to an analogy of a lighthouse shining it's light, never growing dim and saving many, many lives, giving direction to all who follow it's beacon of light. I felt so thankful that we had been following the direction of the Holy Spirit and that we could flow with what He was doing.

I have to say...........there is a stirring in the Kingdom of God that is burning in all the hearts of the true body of Yeshua. It's not something that passes, but like an inferno of fire shut up in your bones, it has to be let out. It's meant to consume you and draw you into the loving arms of the Great I Am, where you receive your orders. Don't ignore this wooing of the Holy Spirit, for if you do ( Matthew 25: 1-13 ) , you may be like the foolish virgins who had no oil when the bridegroom came and though they tried to make up for being foolish, it was to no avail. As I write this He reminds me of....

John 16:13

13Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

Well, there's so much more that I want to write but I''ll save it for next time! Until then......live and be a temple for Him.

Deepmusing

Hey everyone,
Sorry its been so long since my last post but gee whiz have we been busy here. We've been recording some new songs and have written four others, I hope to have them recorded soon and put them on the CD. Aside from all the songwriting and recording we have been working every day on our new house and in the development my dad and a partner started three years ago . I don't think I ever mentioned in any of the later post that I work in construction, my brother and I will be getting our General Contractors licenses before the summer is over, so pray for us.
Speaking of the summer, I will be attending a medical missionary training class in Marion NC for two weeks in September, I really hope to gain a lot from it as medical missions has always been something I have felt called to. On that note, I had to be certified in adult, child and infant CPR and first aid before even applying for the class, so the weekend before last my brother Austin, my sister Olivia and myself took the 8 hour class to get certified. Needless to say we spent all day, beating, smacking, mashing and otherwise premeditatedly battering plastic dummies. Seriously though we did learn so much and by the grace of God we are now certified!!
Well I guess that's about all I've got to say and I don't put much stock in rambling without thought, so I'll say farewell and until we blog again, Let the Joy of the Lord Be your Strength !!!!

The American Dream ?

The life that we Americans lead is one of haphazard frivolity. We tie nothing to the present and drown all of our uncertainties in entertainment and degenerate fantasy. Tomorrow is nothing more than another yesterday carrying with it little less than surface importance.

Man’s reason is marked by his antipathy of a higher power, a greater than he, that, God forbid created him. The idea that at one time we, were vulnerable and without the power to act upon our own impetuous desires, strikes us with distaste and for the most part, a uniform dislike of any binding governor that would bend us to do what is not convenient, while still denying us the freedom to do as we please. Living as we do in this blasé world of living and dying, in this phantasmal sphere of ignoring reality, it is no small wonder that we so often find ourselves, “painted into a corner,” silence is the option of choice and ignorance the excuse for our folly. Even so we take great satisfaction in glorifying our romanticized theories and inane convictions that the earth is flat. We have impregnated the minds in society today with the idea that our actions carry no revulsion, simply living in this rakish illusion we call LIFE and pretending that fate will do what fate wills. Clearly a world view bound for ultimate ruination. The American dream is our greatest aspiration, running constantly in the rat race of society we can see no farther than the extreme ends of selfish desire. Oh to glory in the iron fist of democracy, to join hands with those of liberty and equality, to be smiled upon by the eye of affluence, and above all else to call home, surely the greatest nation of all, America. The gavel of justice in a world of morbid integrity, oh America, land of prosaic destitution, what will be your end?
